A lady in waiting. The day I woke up and the curves I loathed for most of my life became precious to me. I got some fun things during today’s thrift haul, but my absolute favorite was the seagrass drum lampshade for $2. If they didn’t try they’re not trying now, it’s ok to let them go. And no, I’m not just referring to romantic partners. This applies to friendships too. My prayer journal just arrived from The Christian Journal Co. and I couldn’t be more excited to dive deeper in my prayer life and to mark this milestone with a beautiful journal. It’s no mistake that prayer is my favorite spiritual discipline, and as I draw near to Him, the Father continues to affirm its power. Curtains to keep the heat out. Blinds to filter the light in. Olive Joy. Spring 2024. This is our daily bread—the word of God that is. Without this we become faint and do not have strength to go the journey that is walking with Christ in this life. Come to the table and be strengthened by the word of God 🙌🏾 The sun really is shining. The wildflowers are coming to life in all of their glory. The glory that not even Solomon in all of His splendor was clothed in. It truly is a lovely day.
